The program aims to train professionals who have internalized the concepts and principles related to the field, who can carry out the communication, correspondence, appointment services, patient admission, discharge and transfer procedures required by medical works and procedures on the basis of the continuity of health service delivery in health institutions and organizations, who can keep medical and administrative records, convert medical data into medical documents, file, archive and serve patient files and other documents and reports, perform coding procedures according to the defined classification and coding systems, can use hospital information systems, and can work in institutions that serve in business structure and organization of the medicine and health sector.
The period of study is two years. In order to graduate from the program, students must complete the designated program of courses that correspond to 120 ECTS credits and their compulsory internship.
